Listen up gang we have a great Fieldschool weekend planned for the 13th-14th July in London. The Saturday is for those who wish to complete the Introduction Course and the Sunday is for those who wish to complete the Part I Course.
The site you will be working on is in Rotherhithe, on the southern bank of the Thames just east of Tower Bridge and has features such as barge beds partially constructed of re-used ships’ timbers and even the occasional whale bone, and windlasses reused as mooring points.
The indoor venue is an upstairs room of a historic pub with spectacular views of the river in one direction, and the remains of one of Edward III’s manor houses in the other.
